Herons, number 37 Seatown, is located in the centre of the old Seatown area of Gardenstown and consists of a two bedroom cottage sleeping four, and a third double bedroom accessed externally available as an optional extra.
The cottage includes an entrance hall leading to a combined dining kitchen seating up to six with a view from the front of the house towards the sea. Beyond the dining area is the living room which also has a sea view and both rooms have coal fires in addition to electric heaters.
In the living room is a digital TV with Freeview and inbuilt DVD, a CD player, and a variety of games, puzzles and books.
At upper floor level are two bedrooms and the bathroom. The main bedroom includes a double bed and window to the front of the house with an excellent sea view, and to the rear there is a second bedroom with twin beds. The bathroom includes bath, basin and WC.
A large utility room is located at lower ground level accessed externally and includes two large sinks, washing machine and dryer. There is adequate space for washing down dirty dogs and storing wet gear, bikes or similar.
Beyond this utility room is the optional large third bedroom with en-suite shower room. This room includes a large double bed, armchair and TV, but relies on the main cottage for cooking and dining.
We provide linen and towels, and the beds are provided with feather+down pillows, but sythetic alternatives are available by request.
The cottage is a NON SMOKING cottage.
Gardenstown is a dog friendly community and we welcome up to two well behaved dogs in Herons.
