Our Cottage

Herons, number 37 Seatown, is located in the centre of the old Seatown area of Gardenstown and consists of a two bedroom cottage with a separate annexe at lower level containing an en-suite third double bedroom.

MAIN COTTAGE

The main cottage includes an entrance hall leading to a combined dining kitchen seating six with view from the front of the house towards the sea. Beyond the dining area is the living room which also has a sea view and both rooms have coal fires in addition to electric heaters.

In the living room is TV, DVD, CD player, games, puzzles and books.

At upper floor level are two bedrooms and the bathroom. The main bedroom includes a double bed and window to the front of the house with an excellent sea view, and to the rear there is a second bedroom with twin beds. The bathroom includes bath, basin and WC.

ANNEXE

The annexe has a large entrance zone with table and chairs to one side and a wet area to the other including two large sinks and the washing machine. This area is ideal as a washing area for those keen on water sports or for dogs wet from the beach. Gardenstown is a dog friendly community and we welcome up to two well behaved dogs in Herons.

Beyond this area is a third bedroom with king size bed and two easy chairs. This room has an en-suite shower room with WC.

There is also a large store area and a dryer.

The annex includes kettle and tea making facilities but otherwise relies on the main cottage for kitchen and dining.

We provide linen and towels, and the beds are provided with feather+down pillows, but sythetic alternatives are available by request.

The cottage is a NON SMOKING cottage.
